Vermont Men Alive gatherings encompass all aspects of humanity: ritual, spirtual, financial, social, etc... The weekend opens with a welcoming arrival to Sky Meadow Retreat. Everyone arrives and gets theie personal belongings into a room of their choice and then socializes until Opening Circle, a ritual of sharing and open communication. This leads into a discussion of the entire weekend, including planning various activities based on the skeletal schedule shown below. All participation is optional as the entire spirit of our gatherings is self-expression and safety in a non-judgemental way.

The Men Alive Council is made up of "Stickholders" (activity coordinators), along with any other men who attend and would like to participate, who bring all elements of a gathering together to make it all happen as smoothly as possible. Much of the weekend is maleable, in a very creative, open space. You can take a 'stick' as a "Stickholder" before, or during the gathering, and we welcome all participation!
